Great article here noting that throughout sports, the country, and red-letter dates throughout the year, high schools sports have continually risen in prominence on the national scale to compete for media attention with professional and college sports and athletes.
The article goes on to predict some sports coverage changes in the future, perhaps coining a new ESPN affiliate, ESPNHS. And incidentally, throughout all of this, coaches, scouts, fans, parents and - of course - high school student athletes themselves, all acknowledge “the added pressure placed on young players by the national exposure”.
PrepChamps recognizes the pressures facing high school student athletes. That’s why profiles on our site and high school sports marketing with us is entirely free of charge and without obligation from you, the student athlete. PrepChamps: Get Recognized and Get Recruited.
