Congratulations to Brandon Mitchell, a senior quarterback from Amite, Louisiana, on his commitment to play football at Arkansas next year! It’s been a great few days here at PrepChamps as Devon Hodges committed to play basketball at Wisconsin recently, and now Brandon has announced his committment.
Brandon Mitchell is a big, fast quarterback who is a threat to run and pass. He’s 6′4″, 220 pounds and runs the 40 in 4.51 seconds. He originally committed to play basketball at LSU in his sophomore year but had gotten more into football in his final two years of high school, so decided to focus on football in college. This season he threw for 1,888 yards and 25 touchdowns and rushed for 779 yards and 14 touchdowns.
