At PrepChamps, our goal is to provide you with a community and tools to improve your chances of getting recognized and recruited by college athletic programs. While there is an option to upgrade to a premium account for even more features, you aren’t limited by having a free account.
You can use your free account to save time and hopefully get recognized more quickly. Fill out your profile with your stats, info and interests so college coaches and recruiters can learn more about you. Upload your highlight videos and pictures so others can see you in action and get even more interested in you. Stats are nice, but when you can back them up with proof in videos, this is even better and more intriguing to coaches and fans.
Once you’ve created a profile and uploaded your videos, you can still do other things to improve your chances of getting noticed and recruited. Keep your profile updated so people will have the most accurate information about you. Send your profile out to your friends and family and encourage them to share it with others they know. You can do this via Facebook, MySpace, MyYearBook, email, etc. You can also share your stats with your friends and family easily with our Facebook app.
Like I said earlier, there are some benefits to having a premium account (top search placement, multiple sports on your account, etc), but hopefully you can see that a free account still gives you plenty of ways to increase your chances at getting recognized. See below for a comparison of free and premium accounts, in case you are thinking about upgrading.
