We’ve been working on the main PrepChamps website, making some changes and adding new features to improve your experience on the site. Here are a few features we’ve added and things we’ve done that we hope you’ll appreciate:
- Profile, Message and Friendship privacy settings for fans and hs coaches. That means everyone can decide whether their profiles should be public, who can send them messages, and who can befriend them. To change your privacy, log into PrepChamps, click the Account link, then click the Privacy tab. All three preferences allow these options: Everyone (default) and No One. Athletes have an additional option and can set each preference to Just College Coaches
- Profile, message and add-friend links site-wide for all members. Wherever you see a fan, hs coach or athlete’s name throughout the site, you should see a profile link, a mail icon or a befriend icon.
- For both features above, we have omitted college coaches for the time being, in order to respect their privacy until we had it working for everyone else. When we add privacy for college coaches their defaults will be “no one” instead of “everyone”.
- Updated media RSS feeds: If you visit http://www.prepchamps.com/medias.rss?top=20 you can subscribe to our media feed. You’ll get links, descriptions and thumbnails every time a video or photo is added to PrepChamps.
