New Homepage Features Today

Today we unveiled a few new features on PrepChamps.

PrepChamps Homepage

New visitors or people who are not logged in to PrepChamps can now see a scrolling list of our recently committed athletes at the top of our homepage. The scrolling list pauses when you hover over it and clicking an athlete’s name takes you to a blog post to give you a little more information about his/her commitment.

We’ve also added a Hall of Fame section that lists all of our past featured athletes and gives them a little more exposure. We randomly choose a new featured athlete each week from athletes who have fully utilized their profiles by adding stats, pictures, videos, and a bio to tell coaches and fans more about themselves. Make sure your profile is complete to increase your chances of getting picked.

PrepChamps Challenges

We’ve simplified our PrepChamps Challenges to make it easier for people to view pictures and vote on them. Battle your friends and teammates in various categories to see who has the best pictures. Winners get bragging rights; everyone that participates gets more exposure.

We hope you enjoy these changes and let us know what you think and if you have any suggestions for other changes.
