Recent Top Colorado Hoops Performers

Here are few basketball student-athletes from Colorado that have been well recently. Thanks to our friends from the Colorado Chaos for this update.

Thomas Bropleh (6′5″ SF George Washington 2009) continues his assault on the state. He is playing as well as any player in the state right now and guiding his team to an impressive 15-0 record and #2 ranking in the state. He recently had a 35 point, 12 rebound effort against Widefield and back to back 29 point efforts against Chaparral and Highlands Ranch. On the year he is averaging 23.9 points and 8.8 rebounds per game. He seems to be playing basketball at another level right now and should be a hot recruiting commodity as the season progresses.

Nick Fox (6′7″ CF Sand Creek 2009)
has been playing some amazing basketball lately. He recently had a 28 point, 19 rebound effort in a tough loss to a ranked Doherty team and a 30 point, 22 rebound effort in a win over Palmer. He is currently averaging 21.2 points and 12.4 rebounds per game. He has dramatically improved over the past year or so. He plays very hard and is a nice looking college prospect who would have an amazing career in the RMAC.

Wesley McKenzie (6′1″ CG Liberty 2010) has been on a roll lately. He recently scored an amazing 44 points in a 95-89 victory over Mountain Vista and followed that with a 34 point effort in a victory over Sand Creek. On the season he is averaging 22.5 points and 4.5 steals per game. He is a very talented natural scorer who gets to the rim with ease and plays very hard on defense.

James Klemm (6′3″ SG Heritage 2009) has been playing well as of late in leading his team to a four game winning streak. He recently chipped in 31 points and 5 steals in a victory over Arvada West. On the season he is averaging 21.9 points per game and making 3.5 three pointers per game. Klemm is one of the best shooters this state has seen in quite some time. He has committed to play at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
