The Reebok 2008 Headliner Tryout Camps kicked off in Phoenix, Arizona on April 12th and 13th, with over 120 of Arizona’s best rising high school players showing up to prove who the best of the best in Arizona really was. While it was a hard fought two days of competitive basketball for all that attended, the following are the lucky few who took center stage and earned an invite to the prestigious Reebok national events, Reebok All-American Camp and Breakout Underclass Camp.

PrepChamps, along with Dick’s Sporting Goods, sponsred the Reebok Headliner Tryout, and would like to congratulate:

Reebok All American Camp

Royce Woolridge 6-2 SOPH Sunnyslope HS (Phoenix, AZ) - 2010 Class
An all around talent, can shoot from anywhere and take the ball to the rim,
Highlighted camp with a 40-point performance on Saturday.

George Matthews 6-6 SOPH St. Mary’s HS (Phoenix, AZ) - 2010 Class
One of the smarter players seen all weekend, has a game with no holes we could find
Always looks to get his teammates involved with his unselfish plays.

Breakout Camp Recipients

Jahii Carson 5-11 FR Mountain Pointe HS (Phoenix, AZ) - 2011 Class
The next can’t miss prospect out of Arizona, he is a special ball handler, but also
Is able to fill it up himself, as a defender will be a headache for any opponent.

John Bailey 6-8 SOPH Dobson HS (Mesa, AZ) - 2010 Class
Long forward, is a blossoming inside presence.

Jordan Didier 6-8 SOPH St. Mary’s HS (Phoenix, AZ) - 2010 Class
A tall shooter, has honed his shot over the last year and is deadly from long distance.
Coming into his own on the boards and becoming a physical presence on the glass.

Stephen Topercer 6-0 FR Horizon HS (Scottsdale, AZ) - 2011 Class
No Information provided.

Judd Welfringer 6-5 FR Desert Ridge HS (Phoenix, AZ) - 2011 Class
Excellent passer yet remains a threat himself on the offensive end, with a deft touch from outside. A big guard certain to be a match up problem, rebounds well for his position as well.

Zeke Chapman 6-1 FR Chaparral HS (Scottsdale, AZ) - 2011 Class
A great basketball IQ launches him into the forefront, his smart plays puts him in position to make a difference on the court. Owns a great shooting touch from deep, refuses to back down from anyone.
